Ipsy December 2021 Glam Bag Review
The Ipsy Glam Bag for December is focused on Time To Shine & Tis The Season To Treat Yourself! Honestly after pushing out a beautiful but exhausting baby I have no issue with treating myself and nor should you! This bag was super fun to unbox and I am looking forward to using each of the products! Plus the blush pink makeup bag is super cute for the holiday season entering into the New Year! Included in the bag was the following: 2 Let Me Skin Face Masks, Belle En Argent Eye Shadow, Maaplim Toner, Tarte Mascara, and a Beauty Crop Powder Brush!
Let Me Skin Facemasks - As I mentioned in the vlog I am really nervous using face masks. I have experienced irritation in the past and I get skittish using them BUT I tired the Brightening Mask and I actually really enjoyed it. I was so paranoid that I thought maybe it was starting to tingle but it was just me overthinking it per usual. I only kept it on for ten minutes, as it suggests 10 to 20 minutes, but it felt good. It was hydrating and when I took it off I was able to rub in the remaining residue. My face did feel a little sticky after but I did feel like my face looked brighter.
Belle En Argent Eye Shadow - I was excited for this duo Eye Shadow because the colors are so pretty! The nude and taupe are gorgeous together and are still subtle enough to wear during the day. I wore them to a Christmas party and got lots of compliments on my eye makeup! I am excited to wear this for New Years Eve… which in al honesty will most likely be my husabd, BB, Jack and I in bed and I don’t want it any other way!
Maapilim Balancing Toner - This has a really nice smell and I found it to be really gentle on my skin. It has tons of benefits and even claims to refine pores, removing debris, without striping the skin. I am looking forward to exploring more with this line because it seems to have a lot of great benefits.
Tarte Surfer Curl Volumizing Mascara - This is a mini version but it packs a punch! I found it to really buff up my eyelashes and it didn’t seem to cause any irritation which made me happy. The wand isn’t the fanciest that I have used but it works and I think it added volume to my eyelashes.
The Beauty Crop Fineapple Powder Brush #F203 - To be totally honest I wasn’t wild about the brush. I used it to dust off my IT Bye Bye Pores Loose Setting Powder, and while it worked it didn’t really seem like anything special. I do love the mermaid-esque color of the brush and kinda wish all of my brushes looked like that.
